Intercom and Access Control Registration

This form is used to collect your details so we can setup your intercom and access control at the property. We will keep private all information that you provide. Any information that you do provide will only be used to enable your access to the building's intercom and electronic access control systems.

Primary Contact/Resident

The primary contact is the main person with whom we will communicate and receive instructions. They will also be the first person listed in the directory on intercom door stations.

Your apartment complex is installed with a modern access control system that supports the traditional RFID (FOBs and Card) authentication as well as BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy). With BLE, this means you can open doors using your mobile phone, even when it’s in your pocket or purse.
In addition to receiving intercom calls on the apartment's indoor answering unit (if your apartment has one), you can also answer intercom calls on your mobile phone even if you are not home. You can even release the door and unlock the lift so your visitor to travel up to your floor.
Your apartment complex may have an intercom door station that has a touch screen directory. This allows visitors to select the directory entry to call your apartment, rather than dialling your apartment number. If the complex does have a touch screen directory, you can elect to display your apartment number only, or your apartment and name.
Some apartments with access control installed by Fibrenet have number plate recognition on the carpark gate. Check with your developer or strata manager if you don’t know. If you would like to use the number plate recognition, record your vehicles number plate below. If you have more than one vehicle to record, enter each plate and separate them using a comma (e.g. 1AAA153, 1BBB456)

Secondary Resident

When a visitor calls your apartment from an intercom door station, the call can be either sequential or simultaneous. Sequential calling means it will attempt to call the first person and after 30 seconds, try the second person. If the first person answers, the ring sequence will stop. Simultaneous calling means it will ring both people at the same time. As soon as someone answers the call, the ring sequence will stop.
You can add the second person to the touch screen directory, but it will be in the same format as you selected in the previous question. If you selected Apartment only in the first question, it will only list a single entry and you cannot add a separate entry for the second user.
